01
An integrative approach means your therapy is tailored to you rather than following just one method. I draw on different counselling styles and techniques depending on what feels most supportive for your needs, experiences, and goals. This way, your therapy is flexible and personal, meeting you where you are and adapting as you grow.
02
Your first consultation is a relaxed and informal conversation. It’s a chance for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you might have, and get a sense of how I work. We’ll explore what you’d like to focus on, but there’s no pressure to commit straight away, the consultation is simply about making sure you feel comfortable and supported.
03
If you’ve found yourself here and asking this question, it already means something important, you’ve recognised a part of yourself that’s ready for care, change, or simply a safe space to pause. You don’t need to be in crisis to begin therapy; it can be just as supportive for reflection, self discovery, and making sense of what’s going on in your life. Taking that first step is often the hardest, but you don’t have to do it alone. A free initial consultation offers a gentle, no pressure way to explore whether therapy feels right for you.
04
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee or the full session rate, depending on circumstances.
05
Yes. Everything you share in sessions is kept strictly confidential, in line with ethical guidelines. The only exceptions are if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or disclosure required by law.
06
Yes - I can provide remote sessions via video call or phone, which can be just as effective as in-person sessions depending on your needs and preferences.
07
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, etc. I welcome clients of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
08
The number of sessions varies for each person. Some people find a few sessions are enough, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll review this together as therapy progresses.
09
Progress may look different for each person. We’ll review your goals periodically, discuss whether you feel relief, clarity, or change, and adjust our approach if needed. Some weeks you’ll notice big shifts; other weeks it’s slower.
10
If you feel a crisis, please reach out to emergency services (999 in the UK) or a crisis helpline. Between sessions, I may provide self-help techniques, resources, or coping strategies, but I’m not available 24/7 except in agreed emergency arrangements.
11
You can book a session directly through the website or by contacting me via email or phone. Once we’re in touch, we can arrange a suitable time for your first appointment. Any follow-up appointments will then be arranged together at the end of each session.
12
I accept payment via cash, bank transfer, or our contactless system. Payments can be made either in advance or on arrival at your session, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
